THE MANNKIND MISSION

Inspire

Empower

Reshape

We believe that many of the world’s inflictions can be traced to systemic ignorance which only serves to emphasize our differences. This leads to a detachment from the greater consciousness and incites apathy or anger toward one other. By practicing compassion and empathy through our actions, we will inspire the necessary kindness that shall break the perceived barriers that inherently divide us. Through education and spiritual learning, we will empower a generation of empathetic leaders with the common knowledge that we are all one. Our passion and sustained efforts will reshape narrow views of self-interest into a global sense of responsibility. Our action will evoke more action and inevitably lead to a sustainable future filled with gratitude and abundance.

THE CHALLENGES

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

To fulfill our mission, Mannkind directs action toward the three most challenging issues facing our world today: the plight of disadvantaged and vulnerable children in developing countries; the growing threat of climate change that endangers our way of life; eradication of poverty, homelessness and hunger. Although these issues are seemingly insurmountable, we take great pride in each meal we serve, each tree we plant, and each child we defend against exploitation.

Values

We acknowledge that the tangible results of our actions are temporary. However, we hope our actions will instil our common values onto the world, thereby sustaining a cycle of beneficial change for generations to come.

01
Compassion

Our genuine concern for the disenfranchised, or those born in destitute and deprived circumstances, motivate us to action and drive our group’s purpose.

02
Purpose

Our determination to break the systemic barriers that have led to global hardships have given us the courage to tackle the defining issues of our lifetime.

03
Courage

We know our path is a difficult one filled with overwhelming challenges, but it provides us the strength to empathize with our fellow man and woman by sharing in their experiences.

04
Empathy

By learning to understand and care about perspectives other than our own, we heighten our sense of community and connectedness to one-another, thereby eliminating the illusion of division.

05
Community

By realizing our differences are only skin deep, or drawn by arbitrary lines on a map, we acknowledge that we are part of the same global community and actively work toward enhancing our collective quality of life.

Letter From Dave & Rani Mann

We are absolutely grateful and thankful for all the abundance that has rained upon us. Such beautiful abundance.

Much gratitude to all the volunteers of Mannkind Charity. Their spirit of sharing is awe-inspiring. We are blessed to be witness to such grace. Much gratitude to this beautiful country of ours. Canada has rewarded hard work, and most importantly, it has given us a moral compass that is deeply rooted in sharing. Much gratitude to the invisible divine hand that guides us always. It has brought such beautiful people into our lives.

May compassion be your constant companion. May gratitude permeate your life.

Love and respect always,

Dave & Rani Mann
