Dave immigrated to Canada in 1975 as a teenager, where he attended David Thompson Secondary School. Due to financial hardship, Dave was unable to graduate and had to pick up multiple jobs to support himself. His jobs included being a kitchen helper, busboy, janitor, farmworker, and much more at a young age. Eventually, Dave saved enough money to go back and earn his high school diploma. In 1989, he obtained his real estate license and became a Medallion Member Realtor for ten years in a row. In 1994, Dave founded Isle of Mann Construction and Isle of Mann Property Group. Since its inception, Isle of Mann has built many residential and commercial developments across British Columbia and Alberta. In 2016, he was recognized as a Legend of Housing by the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association. Dave co-founded Mannkind Charity with his wife, Rani, in 2009 and has shifted his focus from real estate towards his charitable initiatives. Dave strongly urges those around him to believe in the abundance of sharing. He believes that every individual that comes to this world is born with greatness and uniqueness.
