James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, and Juris Doctor from UBC’s Faculty of Law. James started his career as an Associate at Aydin Bird Business Lawyers, a boutique business law firm specializing in corporate, trust, commercial and real estate law. Today, James is Director of Operations and General Counsel of Isle of Mann Property Group. James has been involved with Mannkind since its inception in 2009. James handled the due-diligence and process of registering Mannkind as a charity. He oversees the annual budget and ensures all projects are sufficiently funded on an ongoing basis. James enjoys watching Star Wars with his son, Oliver, and spending time outdoors with his family.
