Mannkind Charity, Surrey Urban Mission Society and Surrey Costco put together turkey dinners with all the fixings for those in need at the Surrey Urban Mission for several Christmases in a row. 50-60 guests attended each dinner, and each person enjoyed a meal prepped and cooked by our volunteers. Every guest was served at their table by Mannkind and community volunteers. These dinners were often held in conjunction with our clothing drives, so after their meals, our guests would go home with clothing to help keep them warm through the chilly season.
