Syrian Refugees
Bed Facility
Fleeing from their war-ravaged country, seeking a better place to raise their children, Syrian refugees have been scattered throughout Europe, desperately seeking shelter in parks and anywhere else possible for themselves and their children. Volunteers from our team travelled to Serbia in October 2015 to extend a helping hand. As a result, Mannkind set up a 28-bed facility to house refugee families with children. Mannkind committed to providing lodging, food, clothes, and medical services for the following five harsh months of winter that year for all refugees that passed through the facility.
